This series was photographed across Uzbekistan in the early summer. The images follow the pace of daily life in cities like Bukhara, Samarkand, and Khiva—where mornings begin early, and the streets fill slowly with movement. Workshops open their doors, bread is stacked on wooden carts, and conversations unfold over tea in shaded courtyards. The architecture is present, but not framed as a subject—just part of the backdrop to routines that have carried on for generations.
What stands out most are the people. Craftsmen at work, children playing without pause, women walking home with cloth-wrapped bundles. There’s no effort to stage or explain—just time spent observing, waiting, and sharing space. Many of these photographs were taken after spending hours in one spot, with the camera becoming part of the environment. What emerged is a record of quiet moments and small gestures, shaped more by trust than by timing.
